Massie On Hemon On Beckham

The always good (and sometimes reader of this blog) Alex Massie defends Becks from Aleksander Hemon’s slanderous assault in TNR. He makes many of the same points I made yesterday, but alas, Alex has some real writing experience apart from occasional blatherings on a blog (though his blogerly ‘blatherings’ are quite good) and is thus able to get his thoughts published. Oh the lonely road the teenage blogger must walk to semi non obscurity.
PS - None of this should be imputed as any sort of resentment or dislike for Alex. He’s a great man, I mean, he called me “The blogosphere’s shockingly precocious phenom” How could I not like him?
