Now, there’s been some talk about Scotland reverting to pre 1707 status, reversing the Acts of Union and becoming an independent nation. We all know from Hume and Smith that there are plenty of intelligent, articulate Scots, so getting one to write an op-ed in the Washington Post shouldn’t be all that hard…right. WRONG. Today’s Post has none other than the wife beating excusing, ex James Bond, star of Finding Forrester putting pen to ink in the cause of Scottish independence.
