Uhh, Russia Is Bad Too
I think my commentary has been a tad to the pro-Russian side. I should note that Russia has clearly escalated by attacking Georgia proper and refusing a cease fire. James Poulos has a much more eloquent explanation of this crow eating. This, of course, doesn’t mean that Saakashvili is blameless and that Georgia is a pure force fighting on the side of Democracy and The Rule of Law, but Russia is doing a tad more than protecting innocent Ossetians.
