Sharing The Hi-Def Bounty
Apropos Yglesias’ struggle with watching the ’skins in HD, I’ve noticed something interesting while watching the Pats-Jets game on one TiVo tuner and the Packets-Eagles game on the other. When CBS gives highlights for Fox to run for their in-game updates and for the half time show, they aren’t in HD. It creates a rather jarring effect, one second, you’re watching beautiful HD, and the next you’re watching some scratchy, poorly defined, 5 second clip. Of course, Fox doesn’t seem to be providing HD highlights to CBS either.
PS – Chad Pennington just badly twisted either his ankle or his knee and seeing him try to walk off the field, badly hobbling, obviously pissed off was all bad. Oh yeah, and Randy Moss just caught a 51 yard TD in triple coverage, giving him six catches for 157 yards. This never happened for the Raiders, consider throughly depressed.
